Bible Studies

St. Jerome said, “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ.” With these words in mind, St. Mary Parish offers a variety of Bible Studies open to the whole parish.

The Great Adventure Bible Study Group began as a group while working through many of the wonderful Great Adventure Bible Study programs. They have since utilized a large variety of studies to continue to explore their faith. They’ve completed programs such: “Oremus: Let Us Pray to Deepen Their Prayer Life” and “The Prophets: Messengers of God’s Mercy.” Meetings are Mondays at 7:00pm. Tuesday Night Bible Study
The purpose of the Tuesday Evening Bible Study is to provide an opportunity for all level of students to meet and study the Bible so they may learn to apply the message of the scripture to their lives. The class consists of presentations and discussion. The presentations provide basic academic aspects of a specific book of the Bible (Author, Date, Audience, Structure, Major Themes, etc.) to set overall context. The discussion provides the opportunity for fellowship and sharing regarding how the scripture has impacted each participant. The group meets Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00pm in the Pastoral Center Dining Room. Contact Steve Smith or Jane Mellem for more information.

Tuesday Afternoon Bible Study
Our Tuesday Noon Bible Study group works through a variety of Scripture study programs.
