RCIA – The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
If you are considering becoming Catholic and you are a convert/non-baptized person OR if you are looking to complete your Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) as an adult, you are invited to participate in our Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, or RCIA, program. Classes begin in the fall and run through the Easter season each year, culminating with reception of the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil. You can contact us anytime throughout the year to sign up or ask any questions you might have. Please contact Michael Muldowney, Adult Faith Formation Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or 720-283-4726.
RCIA for Children
RCIA for Children is a family faith formation program which concludes with the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation including Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil Mass, and followed by the completion of First Reconciliation at a later date. Children ages 7 – 11 are supported by their peers, catechists, parents and parish staff as they grow and learn about the Catholic faith and sacramental life. This program includes several important rites celebrated at Mass to support young inquirers and their families to delve deeper into their exploration of the Catholic faith and to welcome them as they make the personal decision to become fully initiated members of the Catholic Church. Please contact Susan Suddjian, Children’s Ministries Coordinator at email@example.com or 720-283-4729.
RCIA for Teens
RCIA for Teens is the program to receive the Sacraments of Initiation including Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist for teenagers ages 12 and up. We are able to tailor our program to the needs of each teen, but typically they attend our Youth Programs with necessary supplemental material for their Sacraments of Initiation. Please contact Laura Potter by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to get started.
Catholics Coming Home to the Faith
If you are a fully initiated Catholic (having received Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) and wish to return to practicing the Catholic faith, welcome home! We would invite you to talk to a priest (click here to contact us) if you would like guidance. We also invite you to explore our Adult Formation opportunities. We encourage you to receive the Sacrament of Confession and begin attending Mass as you move forward in this next chapter of your faith journey.
