Funeral Coordinators Needed
Do you have an ability to minister to families experiencing the loss of a loved one? St. Mary is creating a team of individuals to help us coordinate and plan funerals. These Funeral Coordinators will walk with grieving families through the whole funeral process, from planning the liturgy to coordinating the logistics, in conjunction with the Director of Liturgy. With multiple people serving on the Funeral Coordinator team, the schedule is flexible, giving the ability to accept funerals according to your availability. St. Mary has on average 50 funerals per year. Compensation will be given on a per funeral basis. Skills needed are an understanding of the Catholic Funeral Mass, a compassionate heart, good communication and organization skills. Some computer skills are necessary.
