The Denver Catholic Biblical School
For the past 26 years, The Denver Catholic Biblical School has made God's Word come alive for thousands. The school was founded in response to the Second Vatican Council's call for renewal in the study of Scripture. It gives adults the tools and skills they need to hear anew the invitation of their Master in the pages of the Bible.
Four Year Program Begins this September
The 4-year program covers the Bible in its entirety. The school consists of 31 weeks of classes spanning September to May. At each cless, students meet to hear a lecture by the instructor and engage in small-group discussion based on the weekly assignment.
The Denver Catholic Biblical School is returning to St. Mary Parish this fall. First year classes will be held on Thursday nights from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in Marian Hall. Classes begin the week of September 8, 2008 and end the week of May 4, 2009. Year one classes cover the historical books of the Old Testament. The registration deadline for first year students is Friday, August 15, 2008. An information session will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 in Marian Hall at 7:00pm. Information sessions are also available starting in May at other locations. Contact the Biblical School office for specific times and places. All first year students are required to attend the 1st Year Orientation Day on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish (8:30am - 3:30pm).
