Becoming Catholic...
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Learn more about RCIA!
What is RCIA?
The Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) is a process for non-baptized persons (called “catechumens”) and baptized non-Catholics (called “candidates”) who wish to become Catholics. Baptized Catholics who have not received the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation are also welcome, as are non-practicing Catholics who wish to return home to the Catholic faith.
For the 2011-2012 year only, the RCIA program at St. Mary’s will be based around the theme “Through the Faith with Blessed John Paul II.” If you are at all interested in the possibility of coming or returning to the Catholic faith, or if you just want to learn more, please join us! For information about becoming Catholic or receiving the Sacraments of Confirmation or Eucharist as a Catholic adult, contact Lisa Marie Thompson at 720-283-4726 or lthompson@stmarylittleton.org.
