Mary’s Little Children Open The Word (9:30am Mass)

Mary’s Little Children Open the Word (formerly known as Nazareth Opens the Word) is a program catered specifically for 4 and 5-year-olds. We offer an opportunity for your child to experience the Liturgy of the Word on a level that they can easily understand. This program requires that your child be 4 years old at the time of registration.

During the 9:30am Mass, Father will call children to the front right before the first reading. Once your children join us at the front, we will process to Ave Maria Hall. Children will return to their families during the procession of the gifts so they can participate in the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Throughout the year our lessons will center around gospel messages, themes of the Liturgical seasons, and how Creation shows God’s immense love for us all. We will always read from the Bible and have activities or crafts that encourage your child to interact with the Words of scripture.
