Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for the Sipple Family

 

Kendrick Sipple, a St. Mary's student in 5C, has been diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his leg and will be undergoing treatment including chemotherapy and surgery. Kendrick, his mother Cathy and brother Kordell in 3A are asking for everyone's prayers during this journey. Cathy is a single parent and will be taking a leave from work to be with Kendrick during his treatments. The financial strain of treating a child with cancer is a burden for any family, but will be particularly stressful for Cathy.

With the generous help of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary's HSA is having this spaghetti dinner to raise some much-needed funds for the Sipple Family. Please join us for dinner, including spaghetti, salad, bread and beverages, plus music and entertainment by the 5th grade class.

 

WHEN: After 5:30 Mass on Sunday, May 18, 2008

 

WHERE: Marian Hall (church basement).

TICKETS: To purchase tickets in advance complete the bottom portion and return to the school office no later than Thursday, May 15. This will be your reservation and you will be checked in at the door. Tickets will be available at the door. Please make checks payable to Knights of Columbus, Council 3340.

 

If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation, please make checks payable to Knights of Columbus, Council 3340 and send your donation to the address listed above, attention "Sipple Family Benefit."

The Knights of Columbus will collect all donations and promptly forward all proceeds to the family.

VOLUNTEERS! (set-up, clean-up. tickets ... )

SODA and DESSERTS (to be sold that evening. proceeds to the Sipple family).
