Service
Affiliated with the Denver Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, this parish organization helps with many parish needs and provides receptions for our sacramental liturgies. We are one of the most active organizations of its type within the Archdiocese. We occasionally raise money for various charities, including the Adopt-a-Seminarian program. Fundraisers may include bake sales, advent wreath sales, quilt and afghan raffles, and card parties. We also sponsor the Anna Martin Gift Shop, located in the vestibule of the church. A parish-wide Day of Recollection is sponsored each spring, in addition to other presentations to help us grow in our faith and spirituality. All women of the parish are invited to join.
The Gift Shop’s mission is to nurture our Catholic identity, devotion, and education through a wide variety of gifts. Volunteers are needed to help the current staff, and are a great way to meet your fellow parishioners.
GIFT SHOP HOURS
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Belle Bonfils Blood Center comes to St. Mary’s twice a year. Watch the bulletin for further details.
St. Mary’s Food Bank is located adjacent to Marian Hall. It is open Mondays from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Two teams of volunteers take care of the Food Bank. Parishioners donate food by bringing items to Mass and placing them in the bin by the drinking fountain in the vestibule of the church. People in need of food may contact the Parish Office for assistance.
St. Mary’s partners with other Catholic parishes and Christian Churches to sponsor the building of a house for a needy family in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity.
INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK
St. Mary’s is part of the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), which provides temporary housing for homeless families in the Denver area. We provide home-cooked dinners, eat with the families, help with the children’s homework, and provide various other types of assistance as needed, including simply being there to listen without judging. We partner with First Presbyterian Church in Littleton, which provides the physical facilities. Volunteers are needed to cook, stay overnight, and to drive vans.
The members of Council 3340 invite you to join this very active group, the world’s largest Catholic Faith organization. The Knights offer you and your family the opportunity to “Go Forth to Love and Serve the Lord,” with a full range of programs consistent with our Catholic faith. Membership is open to all practicing Catholic men, 18 years of age and over. For more information, please visit our website or call the Parish Office - 303-798-8506.
St. Mary’s has several active Boy Scout, Cub Scout, and Girl Scout groups, which meet throughout the year. Youth from all schools are welcome!
