Pre K - 8th • Focused on Students • Centered on Christ
Saint Mary's is a parochial school steeped in Catholic values and tradition.
Students participate in daily religion classes and weekly school Mass. Additional school liturgies are held on Holy Days and special occasions.
Weekly confessions are offered to different grade levels so students will attend confession at least four times during the school year.
In addition to prayer in individual classrooms, students and staff take turns leading the whole school in daily prayer.
Sacramental preparation is done in conjunction with the parish and involves parental participation. Students in second grade are prepared for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion, and students in seventh grade are prepared for the sacrament of Confirmation.
The Assessment of Catechesis Religious Education (ACRE) is administered every spring. ACRE helps our school evaluate the faith knowledge and attitudes of students in grades 5 and 8. Saint Mary Students score well above national percentages.
Teachers are committed to ongoing faith formation for themselves to ensure the best faith formation for our students.
