Caring Communities

In the Caring Community program, students in grades 1 - 8 are assigned to a community and remain with that community for their entire educational time at St. Mary's. Administrators, teachers, aides, members of the parish staff, and the custodian facilitate the groups.

We gather about 6 or 7 times a year to play, pray, and complete community service projects. The program ensures that students know children from other grades and gives older students a chance to take on leadership roles with younger students. We work hard to establish a family like atmosphere in which all of the different members of the group are valued.
