Best Wishes, Vinny!

A note from Fr. Javier

Dear Parish Family,

It is with both joy and sadness, that I share with you today the announcement of the upcoming retirement of Vinny Boscia, the Director of Facilities and Maintenance for the parish and the school. Over the past 14 years that Vinny has been on the staff, he has cared for the grounds and the buildings as if they were his own.

His knowledge, dedication and hard work has seen the parish through the last two major church renovations and the list of projects he has coordinated and problems he has solved over the years are too numerous to count. Priests, staff and volunteers alike have always known that Vinny could be counted on to respond to any maintenance need, from a broken toilet to a snowed in parking lot.

I wish to express my appreciation to Vinny for the amazing work he has done taking care of our parish home. He has the heart of a servant and will be greatly missed. God willing, Vinny will remain on staff through the end of November or early December while we search for a replacement to take over his tool belt. Please join me in thanking him for all that he has done.

Fr. Javier Nieva, DCJM
