We are called by our Baptism to be Priest, Prophet, and King – to lead our families through prayer and song to be intentional disciples of Jesus Christ. Some of you may have great voices and that is a true blessing. Others of you may feel insecure about your ability to sing and you are the men I’d like to see. St. Teresa of Calcutta said, “Jesus will use you to accomplish great things on the condition that you believe much more in his love than in your weakness.” Learning to pray and sing in the Church and in your home means establishing a legacy of faith that you will pass down to your sons and their sons.
Our St. Mary Men’s choir meets for rehearsal at 6:00 p.m. on the last Thursday of the month beginning August 31 and sings at the 4:30 p.m. Mass (3:30 rehearsal) on the first Saturday of the month. In rehearsals you will learn to sing well and to read music.
Rehearsals at 6:00 p.m.every Thursday, August 24 and sings at the 9:30 a.m. Mass (8:30 rehearsal) or the 11:30 a.m. Mass (10:30 rehearsal) on Sundays.
