What’s Happening?

During 2017–2018, we will look at the practical effects of the Sacraments of Initiation in the lives of our families. We are currently examining the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The Knights of Columbus will host their Lenten fish dinners each Friday at 5:00 p.m. Stations of the Cross will follow at 7:00.

Taste & See is back on Wednesday evenings starting Feb. 21 with Flesh and Spirit, an engaging 5-week series on living out the graces we receive in the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Each evening begins at 6 p.m. with light hors d’oeuvres and drinks, followed by a presentation at 6:30. Small group discussions round out the evening.

The nursery will be available. Visit the Taste & See page for updates and links to past series.

The spring 40 Days for Life campaign begins Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14, and runs through March 25. There are several ways you can be a part of this ongoing effort to save the lives of unborn children.

Prayer vigils outside Denver’s Planned Parenthood facility will take place each of the 40 days from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. St. Mary Parish will host the vigil and Mass on Mar. 17, with a Rosary at 10 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m. A short session for newcomers will take place after Mass.

Art Night!

Please join the American Heritage Girls and My Art Workshop in a night of canvas painting on March 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Joachim Hall. Each participant will create his or her own masterpiece.  Artists will be on hand to help with ideas and techniques. Cost is $20/canvas. Register by March 22 by contacting Cathy Reilly at 720.984.5751 or cathyreilly1@comcast.net. All skill sets are welcome!
