What's Happening 2-01

St. Jerome said, “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ.” With these words in mind, St. Mary Parish offers a variety of Bible Studies open to the whole parish.

Tuesday Afternoon Bible Study
Our Tuesday Noon Bible Study group works through a variety of Scripture study programs. They have completed programs such as “The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation,” by Jeff Cavins, Tim Gray, and Sarah Christmyer. The group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 1:00-3:00pm in the Pastoral Center. Contact Joan Lennon for more information.

Denver Catholic Biblical School
The Catholic Biblical School is a four-year program offered by the Archdiocese of Denver. Students examine scripture through lectures, small-group discussions, and weekly coursework all taught by experienced teachers. For more information or to register, please click here.

Help us cover our Bottom Line

At all Masses May 4/5 and May 11/12

Did you know 1 in 3 families struggle with the diaper need, forcing many families to re-use diapers so other needs can be covered?

St. Mary parish will host a two-week diaper drive May 4 & 5 and May 11 & 12 to benefit the Bottom Line Diaper Bank of Catholic Charities. Every year, the ministries of Catholic Charities help distribute more than 500,000 diapers to mothers and babies in need throughout northern Colorado.

In addition, assistance programs do not cover diaper purchases. 100% of financial donations are used to purchase supplies at wholesale—equaling 5 or more diapers for every dollar donated. Currently, sizes 4, 5, and 6 are the biggest need!

For questions visit ccdenver.org/diaper or contact Allison Sullivan 303.797.6128.
